Machined steel ribs attach to the bottom flat of the barrel of a Hawken, Plains, Ohio or other half stock style rifle. Extending from the forend cap to the muzzle, they are attached to the barrel with solder or machine screws. The upper ramrod pipes attach to the rib which acts as a spacer, keeping the rod far enough away from the barrel to allow placement of barrel tenons. 24 inches long.
